Since she was a little girl, Kathryn has always loved animals. After college at Florida State, Kathryn moved to Washington, D.C. to complete her master's degree at Georgetown University. As a full-time graduate student, dog walking & pet sitting started out as the perfect way to fill time between classes and studying. Before she knew it, her passion quickly became a full time job.
During her twelve years as a pet care professional, Kathryn has worked with many different animals including: dogs, cats, horses, birds, and reptiles. She has also worked with animals with a multitude of special needs, such as those requiring specialized medications, subcutaneous or intramuscular injections, and diabetic insulin injections. As well as pets with epilepsy, those recovering from surgery (spay, neuter, trauma, etc), or those with sensitive tummies who have a wide range of special diet preparations and requirements.
Robert and Kathryn are both professional and experienced dog trainers who have developed the skills necessary to successfully train puppies learning basic skills, adult dogs learning advanced skills, and even dogs with specific behavioral issues. Like Kathryn, Robert grew up around animals and has found a passion in helping pets reach their fullest potential.
Kathryn is certified with the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters and certified in Pet CPR!
